During our recent family vacation at the Ullswater, we thoroughly enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere that this guest house offers. As an environmental scientist, I appreciated the immaculate surroundings that reflect a commitment to sustainability, which resonates with my passion for preserving nature. We indulged in an exceptional breakfast each morning, courtesy of the friendly staff, including the delightful Michelle. One memorable day, we took the Ullswater 'Steamers' from Glenridding, enjoying a scenic cruise before embarking on a captivating walk back through woodland, past stunning waterfalls and overlooking the iconic mountains. Our children enjoyed the battleships game provided by our host in the social room, which meant quality family time in a relaxed setting. The conservatory and outdoor area were perfect for unwinding. The Ullswater stands as a cost-effective, family-friendly option for those wishing to explore the natural beauty of the Lake District.
